This would certainly be a contender for the coziest pub in Windsor. Good beer, good people, and good food. If you're in town as a tourist, take a minute to get off the high street and visit a cozy neighborhood spot like this.

Went in for lunch about 1pm on a Thursday so was pretty quiet (we were the only ones in there for a bit). The service was brilliant, the bartender was really friendly and attentive. The food was really good, I had the fish bap and it was incredible value for money as the portion was huge. My vegan partner also really enjoyed her bean chilli (only minor complaint was there was a lot of red chillis in it). Her portion size was also quite good. Would definitely recommend! Free parking was also a bonus but not a huge amount of spaces, imagine it would be hard to find parking at busier times.

The location is great with convenient parking, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the Sunday roast was disappointing – it didn’t taste fresh, the beef was tough, and the vegetables seemed frozen. Such a shame, as I really like the place. I hope the food improves, as it has a lot of potential and i would love to give them a 5*****

Friendlier staff than at Windsor Castle I have never seen in my life. CONGRATULATIONS to all those behind the gates, who make our visit possible to be unique. So much history and elegance in one place. It is unbelievable what historical thrill, what emotions and how much story there is in every room, in every object, in every painting and it is unimaginable what sensation you can experience here when you hear its story.
