ToH and I took lunch at one of our local favourites restaurants: Chalk in Wokingham. They do a monthly set lunch on weekdays. Two courses for £12 or three courses for £15. We had a private room for 9 after my daughter’s wedding in Wokingham Registry Office . The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. They stored the cake in their fridge the day before, allowed us to decorate the room with balloons, banners and flowers. The food was delicious and the service amazing . Came here for a meal with my family, and I was pleasantly surprised, our waiter was this young lad called Gabril, who had recommended me the duck breast, it was very great in taste and just what I needed for my tastebuds that day. I loved the decor and the interior and I will definitely be back soon. Thank you to our waiter for making our night with his kind and attentive services and the chefs for the amazing food.
