I visited The Moon Under the Water on Monday 15th September and ordered a traditional breakfast. When it arrived, I was really impressed with how well cooked it was and how well presented it was. The egg had a runny yolk, bacon cooked perfectly and so was everything else. Staff were friendly and polite, where the service was quick and efficient.

Dropped by for a quick drink as I had half an hour to wait for my train. I ordered a drink on the app, it took 15 minutes to arrive. Not a bad place usually. Busy like any spoons pub, food is good and usually comes a lot quicker.

It was busy but there were tables to be had. Service was swift and the meals were served quickly and were cooked to perfection. However, there were a group of, presumably, locals who were well into their dotage and talking loudly and swearing like troopers, so was a bit disappointed that management saw fit to ignore them. That said, I would definitely return.
