I visited The Conservatory Bar in Worcester with my wife and our son, hoping for a relaxed family outing in a nice setting. The place has a lot going for it. The atmosphere is generally pleasant, and the décor creates a welcoming environment that suits both couples and families. The food and drinks were decent overall. Rude staff, overzealous doorman, and a manager clearly out of his depth. There are plenty of great bars in Worcester—this one is best avoided! I have read the management’s response to my review and am disappointed by its contents. For clarity, I am 61 years of age, and was sober, calm, and polite on the evening in question. I did not request a “male manager” and have no issue with female managers, so I do not recognise that account of events. Given my concerns about how this situation was handled, I have contacted the local licensing authority and await their response. I stand by my origin

What a nice place to just go and enjoy a coffee or even something more substantial. The staff that served us, were amazing and absolutely polite. The bathroom was clean and the facility was well cleaned and the atmosphere was great. They had the Olympic on the screen, but it was not so loud that it was unpleasant to be there. They got that right. The Decor was / is very well put together and created a really nice place to visit.
