I'm severely disabled and isolated in Yeovil and have to rely on everything being delivered to my home. Costa accepted an order from Uber when they didn't have the food in stock. It was a toastie and was my lunch for the day. No replacement was sent and they had written on the receipt to claim a refund. Uber are refusing the refund as I've already had to claim a couple of times recently for other orders. I do know that shops and restaurants are able to do something on their end that enables the customer to get a refund. This was never done. Costa have no number to call. I have to send an email

The woman serving I guess was new as she decided to serve the woman behind me first. The guy apologised and asked what I wanted then start to make it then told her to ring it through. Odd experience but they were friendly and he could see what happened and made everything seemless.

Popped in for a quick cup of tea and toasted sandwich while in Yeovil. Tea was an easy one even if the cutlery was still filthy. Not required so did not take it further. Waited ages for the toastie and they were brought out staggered so we ate a half each and waited for the other to arrive! Misrepresentative image of what to expect compared to what was served. For nearly £5 each the sandwich was a complete rip off and didn't even have enough 'sauce' to cover the bread let alone lift it with a chunky filling. Popped in for an impulse coffee and a bite to eat. Ordered our coffee and Laura (Manager) took over. Her attitude and the way she spoke to her staff was SHOCKING!!. She was abrupt, Kirt and her replies to our questions were down right rude. It seemed that she was having a really bad day and her stress and abruptness was taken out on her staff and customers. If you’re having a bad day…. Do not bring this into your work place. Let’s hope she reads this and takes on what is said. Time for the AM to have a word..
