The first time I came to batanga was about a year ago and I cannot believe I’ve not done a review as we’ve been another 6 times since. We cannot visit York without going to batanga, it is so so nice, they have my favourite cocktail ever (the dragonfruit martini) and they are such great value for money. We are actually heading there again today and I cannot wait. Thank you for always being so amazing batanga 💗🥰

My partner and I had a lovely time here. Food was delicious - 100% recommend the street corn dip, £5 cocktails were great and not something you find anywhere really. Amazing service (served by a young guy from London, didn’t get a name). Also great prices compared to a lot of places we’ve eaten in York. Overall would recommend. Cheers :)

Not for the first time… but fantastic food, drinks and experience at Batanga tonight! Max provided excellent service, and was very welcoming and on point with everything! Such a genuinely nice guy aswell. Every bite was melt in your mouth. Fantastic value and would highly recommend for quality Mexican food in York! Looking forward to our next visit already 👌

this is easily the best mexican i’ve ever had. i’ve seen this place all over my friends instagram stories for months and been dying to try it, and it was so worth it!!! I went with my dad and we both absolutely loved it. I got the lamb birria stew, my dad got the beef burrito and we shared the guacamole. my stew was absolutely phenomenal. i’m writing this review about 8 hours later and i’m already planning my next visit 🤣. service was absolutely amazing as well, 2 lovely members of staff that made the whole experience even better. 10/10 would recommend
