What an absolutely lovely find! Despite being from York, I had never visited before because I mistakenly thought it was just a pub. Instead, it’s a fantastic, spacious spot for lunch with family and friends. They are incredibly accommodating for large groups—we had a child with us who had specific dietary requirements, and the staff were more than happy to let him eat food brought from home while the rest of us ordered from the menu.
