Beehive is located in downtown Abilene. My family (2 adults and 2 kids) ate here for the first time. Our server was attentive and friendly. A few different menu items to choose from. There is no kids menu but our server informed us they had a kids chicken tenders and grilled cheese with fries options available. I got the beer battered shrimp with a baked potato and salad. The food is well worth the wait!! We each had great meals!! We arrived at 7pm on a Friday. There were two groups ahead of us (a couple and a trio). The hostess said it would be about a 20 min wait. As we sat there, I noticed at least 3 couples and two larger groups leave. After about 30 minutes, the hostess ended up seating the five groups waiting all in quick succession. This tells me they have an efficient table clearing and notification process. The restaurant has enclaves with multiple tables in them (pictured). Place was packed, but it was 7pm on a Saturday night. Got seating in the bar area. One server was obviously not in a good mood, while the other was fantastic. We both weren't settled on what we wanted, but each chose the steak fries. Man, giant mound of food with perfectly cooked tenderloin. Would definitely go get this again.
