The Traveler★★★★★A must stop if you are traveling through Oakland on the 880. We were looking for a lunch spot and this was an easy on-easy off stop on our travels north from Monterey. This is excellent German food and we enjoyed everything we got. I chose the Bretzle & Obadzta starter because traditional pretzles are EVERYTHING. This starter came with a traditional cheese spread and pickled onions. We discovered the mustards that are provided are a great addition to dip in also. In the brown squeeze dispenser there is a stone ground mustard that packs a punch with what can only be described as horseradish. Th

Fish Head★★★★★Decent quality German food in a cool location right by the water. We tried the Wiener Schnitzel and a snack plate. The schnitzel was good. It came with fries and a little container of applesauce. The snack plate was a pretty good option if you want to try a bunch of different things. Pickled egg and veggies with a piece of salami type cured sausage,a pate style meat, a cheese spread and their addictive spicy nuts. Oh, and a baked pretzel! Service was pleasant and fast.
