A nice quiet spot for lunch. Dove & Deer was a great spot for some good eats without the business of a city. Restaurant has large open ceilings and area so it does not feel crammed and even feels closer to a cafe. Food is served hot and fresh. The chicken sandwich was sizzling coming out of the kitchen and paired well with the sauce and crispy fries. The mozzarella sticks were also made to order and melted perfectly. Would very much recommend for a great meal if you’re in town.

Great Food, Shocking Customer Service — Management Needs Serious Attention I visited twice — first on Easter Sunday, where the food was genuinely excellent and the experience was wonderful. I was taken aback by this place. While I can appreciate the location, the inside atmosphere, and some of the dishes listed on their menu, it was an example of what being in a prime location does to the prices of a restaurant’s menu: pricey… and honestly for no reason when it comes to the quality of the food we received. My wife and I decided to give this place a visit. It was our first and most likely last. Its a very welcoming atmosphere and parking nearby wasn't hard on a Sunday. However, the food left much to be desired. The wings were pretty good and the server was attentive enough However, they were out of the specific steak we came to get, so they offered a substitute. I should have picked something else entirely. I ordered a medium rare steak with veggies and smashed fingerling potatoes and my wife ordered a medium rare burger and fries, hold the onion.
