Kelly Baker★★★★★Arrived in town late on a Monday and was starting to think Albuquerque was a disappointment until I happened upon this thirst quenching establishment around 11:45. The bartender was, indeed, full of sarcasm! (The entertaining kind), and the mini-sized bar filled up rapidly with regulars and locals. All around good time.
Bob Geary★★★★★Found this gem while waiting for a show at the Sunshine Theater right around the corner. It’s a small, intimate space but has a fantastic atmosphere and great energy. The proximity to the venue makes it the perfect spot for a pre-show drink. Highly recommend if you’re catching a concert nearby!
Cammy Finley★★★★Cozy. Charming. Unique. Gives an East Coast ambient. This little bar is the size of your living room, with dark walls, original wood floors, and wide paned glass windows overlooking night life. This is a great bar but beware if the snarky owner/bartender is in a bad mood he may just stop serving you and tell you to leave. Sit by the windows if at all possible to avoid him. Otherwise he likes his regulars to sit at the bar. You can smoke on the sidewalk. One bathroom for all. Dog friendly if is there is room. Walk from parking garage or pay city street parking in lots nearby.
Cristobal Rocha★★★★★Bar Uno is a staple in the downtown community, with its unique character and classic vibe reflected in the decor. Compared to other bars just a few blocks away, it’s refreshingly affordable—I spent only $12 on two draft beers. The bartender, Rudy, was kind and attentive, making the experience even better. It’s clear this spot is beloved by locals, and that’s how you know it’s the real deal. Let me know if you’d like to tweak anything further!
