We had a great meal at Mai Thai in Old Town Alexandria. We ordered the fried calamari, roasted duck salad, and chicken Pad Thai, and everything came out hot, fresh, and flavorful. The calamari was crispy (not greasy at all), the duck salad was packed with flavor, and the Pad Thai had the perfect balance of sweet, sour, and a little bit of spice. Our experience started with waiting for our food for 30 minutes after ordering. The waiter repeatedly told us that the order had been placed but never told us the status of the order. After we got it finally, we began eating. I would say the food was good, but unfortunately, I found a hair in it. We asked the waiter for a reimbursement but he only offered an extremely meager one. After talking to the people in the main restaurant building, the reimbursement was increased.
