So I'm new to the west side and don't know many places have been on a hunt for a good place for some menudo on a Sunday morning. So glad I happened to stop in on this place. The menudo is probably some of the best I've had in town, the white menudo. We also had the ribeye tacos with bone marrow. The salsa wasn't the greatest but added a little salt and it helped. The Cafe de olla was tasty but a bit pricey for one cup. The food more than made up for the salsa and coffee price. It was delicious. 4 PRIORITY VIOLATIONS: A cookline employee handled floor mats and then touched sanitized food containers without washing hands first. The employee washed their hands during the inspection. Cooked beans and tomatillos that had been cooling overnight were still too warm, meaning they were not cooled safely. The foods were discarded. Salsa, cream, horchata and milk were being held above the safe temperature of 41 degrees. The items were moved to proper refrigeration to cool down. Barbacoa, tomato puree and shredded meat were stored past their allowed discard dates. The foods were thrown away

Good food. I placed a huge order for my coworkers and I and notified the staff of the 10% discounts per their website but the staff refused to honor it stating “we never do that”. Stick to your word or remove the “coupon”.
