This place was packed and it was really hard to hear anything, the bathroom were also having some issues. I loved the Japanese birthday song for my brother, that was fire. The alcholic drinks were super good. Everything was cooked well besides one chewy piece of chicken... sauces were good too, didn't have any complaints there. Ice cream was super dense but not bad. I’ve had Benihana’s in Anchorage twice. One dine in and one take out. Both times the food was blah, just not good. The rice had an aftertaste that we just couldn’t place. The vegetables were burnt. We got a shrimp burrito and it had 4 shrimps cut into pieces to make it look like it was more. Do not recommend. Worst Benihana I’ve ever been too

If you’re visiting Benihana in Anchorage, you have to request Chef Jesse. We came for the food but stayed for the absolute comedy gold! Jesse is hands-down the most hilarious and entertaining hibachi chef I’ve ever seen. ​He had our entire table in stitches from start to finish.
