It's a cute and cozy cafe with a lot of dessert and drinks options. If you're looking to try something new, this is definitely a place worth checking out. We got the Chocolate Tahini Tart and the Iced Sahlab. The Tahini in the Tart was just right. Not too overpowering but with a perfectly balanced sesame flavor. The Sahlab was adequatrly sweet, topped with coconut. Will definitely be back to explore more of their menu!

I’ve been wanting to try Knafeh for a long time and finally visited this cafe. I tried both the Cream and the Cheese Knafeh, and the Cheese Knafeh was definitely my favorite! It was delicious and exactly the experience I was looking for. The shop is easy to reach with plenty of parking, and they have a huge variety of treats. We came on a Thursday around 4:30 PM and it was nice and quiet. If you are a first-timer, you have to try the cheese version!

My mom and I had afternoon tea at Asali, and it was lovely. We both agreed that the variety, number, and flavor of the treats were as good as anywhere else we have been in the greater Triangle area for tea, and it was far less expensive than other options. Their tea selection itself was good, with 8 or 10 options (caffeinated and non-caffeinated; black, white, green, herbal). They had such cute china sets arranged for us when we arrived, and the food tower was beautifully prepared. Highly recommend!

I can honestly say Asali Desserts is one of my favorite spots. They serve the best coffee in town, and my go-to is the cappuccino, it’s consistently perfect every single time. That kind of quality and consistency is hard to find! The customer service is always outstanding, and you can really tell the owners care about both their business and their customers. Their brunch menu is another highlight healthy, fresh, and absolutely delicious. It’s the kind of place you keep coming back to, whether for a quick coffee or a relaxing brunch. Highly recommend!
