Me and my bf were looking for Italian food and decided to head here instead of Olive Garden, big mistake. I remember this place 20 years ago in Minneapolis and never went there, and now I have and can go 20 more years without ever seeing this place again. First of all it took a few to get seated, but that is whatever, it was like 7 minutes. But after we were seated it was a few before server came and introduced herself, Maddie was her name. After that she came back with water and took our order. We ordered blackberry mock-a-ritas and I got spinach and cheese raviloli and my bf got the lasagna.

I have never dined at The Old Spaghetti Factory. I enjoyed the ambiance and my meal. I ordered a lunch special which includes: main entre (I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp), a side salad, Italian soda and dessert (sorbet). The food is fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. My first italian soda (recommended by the waitress), did not disappoint! Very refreshing. Decoration is kind of cool, shame the flavors are not on par with it. I ordered a lasagna and it was just ok. The server was barely there, food was brought by a different person and the plates were picked by another person. The server that took our order, we only saw her twice; and the start and when she gave us the check then she disappeared. I had to walk around and tell someone else to take my payment so we could leave. The old spaghetti factory doesn't bring any new ideas to the table and those old ones should have stayed in the past.

Got my “free” (BOGO) birthday dinner. I was reminded why we only go there once a year. And I would rather just pay for both our meals at somewhere decent. I remember as a kid, it was good and fun and cheap. Mos it is none of those things. And same as last time, my cocktail took twenty minutes. The entire time, between two and four people were hanging out behind the bar chatting. Finally my waiter made it, and was about as good as you would expect.
