Had the pleasure of trying this new restaurant in the area & absolutely loved it! We were greeted by the staff upon entering the establishment & quickly got us started with chips & salsa. They brought 2 different salsa green & red. The green salsa was that type where they grill the peppers and veggies. So good! 😌🤌🏼 the red salsa was more of a fresh salsa, typical chips&salsa type but also great flavor! The food is authentic Mexican food. The flavors take you back! Google search had this place as highly recommended for menudo in the area. I stopped by for a to go order. They asked if I wanted hominy. I said yes. They asked about bread/tortillas. I said no. They gave me 1 napkin, which is funny. I get home and stir and stir. There is no hominy in the menudo. There is a small container of onions, jalapeño and lime - no cilantro. Other places give chips and salsa. It looked really good, but the flavor was disappointing. I had to add salt and pepper to get the taste semi-correct and as much as I love tripe, the lack of hominy just kept it from being enjoyabl

We stopped by for breakfast and we're very disappointed. Our breakfast came and we waited an additional 5 minutes because our daughters food chicken nuggets weren't ready. We waited and had to go ask and still waited because it wasn't ready. When we were told when they brought our plates it's on the way right now. We had to keep asking for coffee and my daughter had to also go and ask for a refill because the waitress never asked if we needed refills. I'm all for waiting but when we are the only people in the restaurant it's uncalled for. There was another couple here but they were waited on h

So the atmosphere is good. The waiters/waitress were very friendly. Food is super affordable and more than plenty. I ordered the carne asada. It comes with rice, refried beans, Pico and guacamole. All was good, except the beans. It has zero taste. My friend had to add extra salt to it. Hense the 3-star reviews. I will return, because I think everyone deserves a second chance.😃
