Went to David's to order some food and soup. The soup was busted and all in the bag. It was soaked in soup. The potatoes were burnt. And the food was over all not good and a disappointment. Really let down on the quality here.

Service with a smile here! Hubby got eggs, bacon, hash browns. The eggs were cooked perfectly. I got the house special strawberry crepes with an egg on the side. All cooked well. Didn’t care for the strawberry mixture on top of my crepe. Beautiful plate, looked like a party on a plate. Service was excellent! Keep up the good work. The booth seat I sat on needs replacing.

This place is comfort food 101. It’s basically an IHOP in spirit but locally owned. Everything there is tasty, hearty and made with the love that comes with a place like this. We’ve tried all kinds of items with the latest being the mushroom and feta omelette and the Caesar chicken wrap. Both great. But honestly, the onion rings are the star of the show. Beer battered goodness. Taste like your best memory of onion rings. Adore them. We always stop there when we visit Asheboro and it’s a great time. And, in honor of the late, great David Lynch, they make a damn fine cup of coffee.

I’ve eaten at this establishment about 5 times and have always been pleased with both the service and the food. Today we sat outside on the open patio. They have lights that are sure to make the evening atmosphere very pleasing and relaxing as well. Today I had the crab stuffed avocado. It is served with fruit and cottage cheese. My daughter substituted her cottage cheese for potato salad. It was a very beautiful plate and tasty! I will be getting that dish again. The skillets are also very delicious! They have a large selection of items sure to satisfy any palette.
