Don't let Gandalf's scowling face discourage you! This pastry cafe is a MUST GO. We tried a little of everything, but my personal favorite (so far), was the pizza croissant. I've had A LOT of pastry in my time (my son went to the Culinary Institute and he's a pastry fanatic), but I swear to you, Elevenses' croissants are AMAZING. The pizza croissant had a little heat, a little tomato and a little cheese but BIG FLAVOR. Elevenses is our favorite stop during our morning walks with our dog. We absolutely love how Georgia puts so much care into sourcing fresh, local ingredients and creating delicious pastries. She's so thoughtful and creative, always surprising us with new flavors in her perfectly baked treats. This is also one of the best places to get coffee in Astoria. They really take their beans and milk selections seriously, which makes all the difference. We’re truly so grateful to have Elevenses in our neighborhood!
