Third visit here and still impressed. The veggie tamal and empanada were delicious, and the veggie Cuban sandwich remains my favorite—always flavorful and satisfying. Paired with a Jarritos and a fresh side salad, it was a great meal. Definitely a place we’ll keep coming back to.

Cali N Tito’s is always a great stop in Athens. The Tacu Tacu was our choice this visit paired with a pitcher of mango daiquiri over ice. The process here is part of the experience: get in line, wait a bit, then order at the counter. On busy nights, a 15–20 minute wait is not uncommon, especially if only one register is running. Came back to my college days for this stop. The first thing to note is the atmosphere. It is energetic, eclectic, and vibrant. You have a unique dining experience here for sure. To start you order at the counter. We ordered the lomo saltado and the gran combo. The lomo saltado is their version of fajitas. It was good. Steak was delicious. We added the egg and avocado and I am glad we did. Makes it more hearty. I was less impressed with the gran combo but it was still solid. Just wish for more food for the price. I also wanted to switch out for more plantains but they said I couldn’t. Upon retu

Was in Athens, GA for my son’s UGA orientation and came here on several recommendations. Tito’s and Cali, a cross between Mexican and South American food, is the best I can describe it. All good menu items. 1st time here and will definitely be back. Ordered the Empanadas, both chicken and beef. Both delicious. Chicken was my favorite. Flautas was good, came with salad, white rice and beans. My son got the Cuban Sandwich. He said it was amazing! He’s probably going to be here at least once a week if not more.
