We visited Der Biergarten on a quiet Sunday afternoon and decided to sit outside, as it was peaceful on the patio while the inside was fairly busy. The service was excellent - friendly, attentive, and always available when needed without being intrusive. One of the highlights was the impressive selection of German beers and ciders. We felt it was only right to order a Stein (1-liter beer), and it certainly did not disappoint when it arrived. It was the perfect accompaniment to our meal. I absolutely love German food and Der Biergarten is one of the top German restaurants that I have been to this far. Staff was friendly, we loved the environment, the drinks were great (especially the hefeweizen), and the food was on point. The jager schnitzel was seasoned well and not drenched in gravy. The cucumber salad was amazing. The food also came out very quickly. Very impressed!

Without question the best German food I’ve ever had (including even in Germany). We shared the Schweinshaxe and honestly you could split it 3 or 4 ways . It’s absolutely massive . The service was top notch. Loved our waiter, and the manager came out to tell us how to make their amazing sauerkraut . We came during the World Cup , and it was such an amazing experience.

We came during a con that was hit by a boil warning for water in Atlanta. They let us have canned soda at no cost for refills and some appetizers for the long wait (1+ hour) that we expected given the location and convention attendees from Momocon. Server was excellent and nice. Restaurant ran late past hours to accommodate folks. Food was also really good! Really recommend!
