I was inside of key bar on March 1st with my friends during the time of the mass shooting that occurred at Buford’s. My friends and I ran to the back glass room with other groups to hide around 1:57, and by 2AM we were also told by multiple security working at the bar that we had to leave because “they were closed” while there was an active shooter on the street. If there were guests inside until 2:20AM it was not lucky enough to be any of us. We are lucky to be safe and alive even though we had to find our own safety after being kicked out. extremely disappointed with the way this establishment handled the shooting that happened on march 1st, the shooting started at 1:58am and they had the bouncers KICK us out of the bar at 2, while there was an active shooter out on the street. When we begged the bouncer to let us stay a couple minutes longer he said “sorry we’re closed”. This place obviously doesn’t care for the wellbeing of their customers and i couldn’t be more disgusted.

Early morning of active shooting on March 1, 2026 around 1:59 they started kicking people out because they were closing although everyone was begging to stay inside for safety because gun shots were going off left and right. They did not care at all and had bouncers come around making everyone leave. Everyone had to find shelter elsewhere on the street undercard and in between side streets. Still can process how they treated everyone. Scary scary scary night. Don’t ever go here again.

I was in line like everyone else on 11/02/25 and the plus sized African American door man said he didnt like my look and put his hands on me to throw me out of line . I gave him zero provocation and he told me my " white ass wasn't allowed in". I have been to this bar many times and never been treated this horribly.
