We rode our bikes downtown to try Sugarwolf Bakery today. We were met with a long line. Sunday morning seems to be a super busy time. The line went fairly quickly. There is a pastry only line. There is also a seated meal line . We did the pastry line. Everything we order we as amazing. Smoked salmon sandwich was really nice. IT could have used a little bit more salmon for sure. The pain au chocolate was beyond flaky . The onion jam pastry was really good too ! The vibe is bright and bustling . We want to come back for lunch for sure. There are a ton of dogs inside so if that's not your thing

This what we needed! I have been watching the construction from my living room since it started! What a beautiful space with the food and coffee to match! Everyone is so friendly and happy to be here. The line moves fast and the pastries really are as good as they look. The classic croissant is one of the best I have ever had. The coffee bar has some wonderful unique flavors (lavender cardamom anyone?) and makes a dang good cortado! I love the bar seating. I feel like that is missing in so many coffee shops. It creates a real community vibe. I will be back for lunch and provide an update! Than

I could go on and on about this place. You can tell they really know what they are doing and it shines in the details in their pastry program. The one thing to know is they limit 3 pastries for order. I would have gotten more if given the chance. My favorite was the classic croissant which was perfectly proofed and brown and crispy. The chocolate chip cookie was perfect and had great ingredients in the mix. I was impressed by the coffee pastry with the espresso cookie inside however it was really good just not for me.
