Usually I go to the Newbury location of Pavement, which I absolutely love. This location was also very good. I came here with some friends who are gluten free, dairy free, and egg free, and there were plenty of options for them! Usually it’s very hard to find places they can eat, especially breakfast options, but Pavement was absolutely amazing. My friends said these were the best gluten free bagels they have ever had. I was already iffy on Pavement based on menu options and higher prices than other better options, but today sealed the deal on why that flavor value is lacking. I ordered a large matcha and paid extra for ice ($7.50 total), then after waiting 10 minutes I watched them make that matcha by filling it to the BRIM with ice, fill that space between the cubes with milk to within less than an inch of the top, and then mix in maybe 1-2 tablespoons of matcha to top it off… THEN, he had too much ice in the cup to fit in the little matcha he had, so instead of straining out some cubes HE FILLED A NEW CU

Good bagel place for New England standards. Not enough seating here, which is a shame because it’s a lovely atmosphere. Rosemary bagel was killer! Unlimited milk hack (CURRENTLY UNPATCHED). Simply go to the coffee station and grab the free water cup. Then pour milk in the cup without the staff seeing. Free milk and it’s 2% too, what a steal. I wish it was apple juice low key though.
