I got the steamed dumplings and sesame chicken combo plate. I’m used to the chicken already being sauced and ready to eat but instead I get like friend pieces of chicken and having to put the sauce on it and it just doesn’t give the Chinese sesame chicken feel. The steamed dumplings I don’t recommend getting way too much dough I couldn’t even eat if. I got so disgusted and tried taking some off but eating just the inside just made me disgusted.

This place is a very overhyped. I really don’t know what else to say. The general style chicken is also allegedly the same thing as orange chicken it tasted like neither.The fried rice, I don’t even know what to say . It is just fried rice. I’ve had better at the hibachi. Then to top it off, I ordered beef chow mein and there’s not a single noodle nothing but bean sprouts, vegetables, and beef. I don’t live in town so I wasn’t able to take it back and show them. I more than likely will never come back here.

To be honest, Chang’s House is decent, but the food is pretty average for typical Asian cuisine. It’s great if you’re on a budget, but nothing really blows your mind flavor-wise. The atmosphere feels a bit dark and dingy, and it doesn’t give off a strong sense of cleanliness—some redecorating and a fresh coat of paint could really make it stand out. The staff are friendly and professional, and your food comes out in a reasonable time, but overall, it’s just an average, run-of-the-mill spot. There’s potential here, but room for improvement

🔥 Hands down, some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in Memphis—and I’ve been here 5 years! I’m originally from Chicago and I travel a lot, so when I say I know good Chinese food! 😌 I’ve already been twice... and it's only been a few days. That should tell you everything 👏🏾
