I went to a place down the street that turned out to be a bar and I was completely ignored so I walked out. I'm glad that I did. I got back on Google Maps and found the Frostop. Having never been here before I thought I'd give them a try. What an awesome little burger joint. It seems that they have a following and this place reminds me so much of my old haunt Chuck's Dairy Bar in Rolling Fork, Mississippi. This place has been in business coming up on 73 years. Please check your order before you leave. I Ordered “fish platter” for lunch, and this is what I got. This is not cooked. I bit into the fish, and gagged. French fries were old and tasted like “old grease”. Didn’t have time to go back. $14 wasted. I also called to voice my opinion, and the owner decided that a verbal confrontation with me (the customer) was better than apologizing and trying to correct the problem. No worries, I won’t be returning, and definitely will be sharing my experience with anyone thats in ear shot or will listen

Burger, fry, and a drink combo is their specialty. The restaurant has been in the same location since I was a child and the Root Beer is still very good with a hint of honey to it. A definite reminder of how burger stops use to be back in the day. Inside is pretty run down, but still worth stopping in once in a while for a walk down nostalgia lane.
