when you enter the late stage capitalism establishment of Torchys Tacos, a now national chain that started as a food truck in Austin Texas you are greeted by large glass tablets to order from…the screens show pictures of tacos that will resemble what you order but malfunctions in the software from overuse prevent an order being placed so you’re forced to find an employee and order in the old ways, analog. At Torchys your tacos are brought out to you and you’re expected to clean up after yourself and return all trays when you’re done, because they know we’re the kind of sheep to do it. My fav p

I ordered online a grande burrito online and went in to pick it up at the time it said it would be ready at and waited about 30 minutes after my pick up time. When I finally started eating my food, my chicken inside of the burrito was RAW. I called the restaurant for a refund and employee had attitude and the refund was never received.

My son took me here while in BR. Nice atmosphere. I like that there is outdoor seating. You order at the counter food is delivered to your table. We had the queso which was really good , steak taco and a chicken taco. All was good.
