Crowded, busy, busseling with activity. If you enjoyed the show it's a neat bit of history. The bar that influenced it is downstairs and open. The stage is upstairs and open as a restaurant. Check them both out and enjoy the place where "everybody knows your name".

We grew up watching Sam, Diane, Coach, Woody, Norm, Fraser and the Cheers gang. It was a lot of fun to have the opportunity to walk down the stairs and through the door. While it is not the view or layout that you will see on the show, the atmosphere is still very nice. We sat at the bar for a drink and the bartender was very attentive and friendly. The greeter was also very friendly when we entered. While we did not order food on this trip, the smell coming from the kitchen was amazing. Growing up watching the show, it was really cool to finally visit Cheers in Boston. The atmosphere is unique and full of nostalgia, making it a fun stop whether you're a fan or just exploring the city. The food was good and the service was fast and friendly..Definitely worth checking out!

Such history. Smaller than I thought but still great vibes. I could feel the show while seated at the bar. We had a drink and a Sam Adam's. We also ordered Calamari. Wow. The food was surprisingly awesome. Best I've had and we are from Florida. The bar tender was awesome and personable, even though he was really busy. The place was packed. The service was fast. The food was great. Everything was better than i expected. You gotta come in when you're in town. A must.
