We were at my mother’s house in Brookline with a group of family members on a Saturday evening and after we toiled about dining in the group unanimously voted to go out. The challenge we had was that we had a group of 9. It was going to be hard to get a reservation. I was not familiar with the restaurant scene in Brookline so I spun the wheel and called 6 places and only on was happy to accommodate us -Tasca. Service was great. Paella was a bit dry. Tapas were good. Parking situation stinks. Food in general was overpriced and doesn’t justify, given the taste. Not a place I’d return to. Edit: (post restaurant response). Honestly you as a business should strive to be consistent in providing immaculate service and food quality, proactive instead of reactive. You don’t know how far a customer commits to traveling for a specific experience. And upon an unpleasant experience, it becomes burdensome to repeat the travel.

Our server, Julianna, was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly attentive and took the time to explain the menu in detail, helping us navigate the tapas selections with expert recommendations. It’s rare to find a server who is both so knowledgeable and genuinely welcoming. The Drinks: Perfectly balanced and delicious—the cocktails were definitely on point.
