At first I thought they permanently closed! Their sign is gone, but the food is still good and they're still open. Lunched with my kiddos and we enjoyed it. A little ticked off that there's no notification of a service charge for using a card (of any type, debit or credit.) Please add a drunken noodles lunch special!

I was looking for some Tom Kha soup but was told it didn’t have lemon grass or other veg/seasonings (outside of mushrooms) so I went for the Pad Thai x3. It cost $44 and it was edible but my kids said it had a fishy aftertaste and the noodles kept falling apart. They love Pad Thai. Unfortunately we won’t be going back.

Sala Thai is a wonderful family-owned Thai restaurant in a part of town that doesn't serve food. I believe their sister business is Aroy Thai in O'Fallon. I only ever order the chicken pad thai and my husband always wishes he had when he orders something else (because the pad thai is the best thing on the menu). The food is always perfectly prepared. They offer to add spice up to five levels based on preference. My only critique is that I wish there was more meat in the dish.
