Gilbert’s on Main is such a gem! It somehow manages to feel both gourmet and nostalgic at the same time, and the food is absolutely superb. We love this place and keep finding ourselves coming back. The portions are incredibly generous—many dishes are large enough to share. If you’re visiting on a weekend, expect a bit of a wait, but it’s completely worth it. Gilbert's has been on Main Street as long as I can remember. They serve up deli style food in massive portions so even if the price seems kind of high, you are getting your moneys worth. All the food here is packed with flavor. The workers at the counter take your order and bring the food to your table. Its a nice cozy vibe regardless of the time of day or weather. One thing that has always stood out to me is that they serve Matzo Ball soup and an amazing Reuben sandwich. On my last visit I went around breakfast time. A really nice place with great staff and nice but small outdoor seating. The french toast (half order) was delicious and I enjoyed the brioche bread. The raspberry jam was a nice touch and seemed to be made in house. The jalapeño cheddar bagel was great with strong flavor. The egg scramble was solid and I enjoyed the italian chicken sausage in it. Would definitely return again!

This sandwich is worth the hype and trip, it’s really good. The price they charge is worth it. They do great salads and make very good bread. Came in on Saturday and it was busy but service was fast. There was also live music too. Idk if that’s a normal Saturday thing but it added to the atmosphere of this place. Make sure to come hungry and bring a friend. One sandwich is good enough for 2 people to share.
