I went to the bensalem location last week because I haven’t had Saladworks in a while and was craving it. I used to go to this location all the time so I was familiar with everyone that worked there. When I walked in this time, there was a whole new staff, not as friendly as the old crew. I ordered 2 Create your own salads. The portions were smaller than they used to be, and when I asked for a little extra chicken, she charged me. I only asked for extra because the portion was so small! I frequented this location pretty often, but today was the last day. I guess there is new ownership, I don’t see the regular crew here which is a bummer. My assumption is they fired everyone. If I would’ve know that, I would’ve never returned! However, I just got a create your own salad and got charged for each topping (i assume). My salad came to 25$ which has never happened at any location in the US. I brought it to their attention but they gave me some bull crap. They do not mix the salad dressing in. They will only put it on top or on the side. I asked for half pasta half lettuce. I only got 1 scoop of pasta and a bunch of watery lettuce. None of the veggies look fresh. I also only got 1 scoop of grilled chicken (everywhere else I have been gives me two scoops). When I asked for another scoop of chicken, the man serving me turned to who I assume to be the manager, who proceeds to tell me that "everyone else that does that does their job wrong and a serving of chicken is one scoop". This location has dramatically cut down on the amount of food they give you in a create your own salad. We used to be able to save half our salad for later, which made the cost of $15 well worth it. But now, you get 50% less - so $15 seems astronomic in cost! Will be making our own salads at home going forward.
