I've been a patron at this location since it opened in 2001, and it's disappointing to see what the company has become compared to what it once was. Years ago, Wawa stood out because of its friendly, accommodating employees, a true deli experience with freshly sliced meats, and a level of service that made customers feel welcome. Today, it feels more like a fast-food chain than the neighborhood convenience store that built its reputation. The employees aren't the problem. My experience was less than welcoming. Small quantity of food and rude encounter with a uniformed staff member who was walking by behind the counter in the food service area as I tried to inquire about my take out. He rudely stated how is he supposed to know. He’s only here to change the trash bag. How was I supposed to know that he wasn’t a food service worker considering he was in the food service area??? All he had to do was politely say that he doesn’t work in this area but one of the workers that do can help me out. There was hardly any turkey and gravy in my turkey bowl. I asked for extr

ordered a chicken quesadilla and got chicken and tortilla soup. didnt come with that silly ruffled paper thing that helps avoid a soggy tort as well, so they really wanted me to drink my meal instead. At the very least, the staff is friendly and the place is clean

Look at this sloppy bowl because they they didn’t drain beans or pico before adding it. This isn’t a bowl is a gross soup. This is what happens when employees don’t make the food like their the ones eating it
