Everything was delicious, just as our server warned. I had the fried catfish, which was served with potato salad on a bed of hush puppies. The fish was delicate and flaky without being over cooked. The breading was seasoned but not over-powering. Others in our group enjoyed the buttermilk fried chicken. Impressed by our mains, we decided dessert was in order, so we had the chocolate cake, which does have a satisfying amount of cayenne- just enough to feel the warmth, not so much as to be spicy. I've been here a couple of times now. The first time I had high expectations from having enjoyed great food while in Louisiana. Angeline's didn't quiet feel the same. It's definitely a great spot in the Bay when craving Louisiana food, but it still doesn't come close to the bold flavors I've had during my visit. Apart from that, they have very good service and ambiance is cozy as well. These are just my two cents so take it for what you will. Go check them and see what you think. "High on Food. Total rip off they super skimped out on the catfish nuggets, I paid $18 for fish batter. It's friggin catfish not like it's a super pricey fish especially nugget form. Never coming back here no wonder it wasn't busy.

This was some of the best food I have ever had!!! I used to work at a New Orleans spot in ATL, and this was top tier! Best hush puppies I have ever had, great sweet tea (for not being in the south) and great service despite it being empty! Shoutout to our server Mel, she was great!!
