I had THE BEST time for my birthday, they got me a reservation last minute, welcomed me with a glass of white wine. Kudos to Mark and our server for the best customer service and overall, live music on Fridays and it was super enjoyable, perfect for large and small groups, good drinks and good food. The view was nice enough, but the food simply isn't worth the price. I'd recommend dropping in for a drink at sunset, then getting dinner elsewhere. You're in downtown Berkeley already, it's not hard to do better. The grilled chicked sandwich is a bit more flavorful than it looked because the brine brought some flavor, but I just don't understand $21 for this basic little sandwich. I'd be disappointed to pay $12 for it, even with a nice view. Regarding the view: it's nice, but I wouldn't call it stunning.
