I’ve been to Bora a few times now, and it’s honestly just fine. I recently went for drinks and apps with friends mainly to see their beautiful Christmas decorations. The restaurant is very festive, and they clearly put a lot of effort into the decor. We really enjoyed our drinks. We tried a few seasonal options along with their espresso martini, which was especially good. All of the drinks were solid, and the bartender was very nice and attentive. My initial impression was "wow it is very loud". However it was decorated with holiday decor that was fun and festive. Waited 15 minutes for a reservation placed 2 weeks ago. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and was struggling with other tables as well. We ordered an app along with our main dinning experience. I was in Brookfield purchasing a car. The sales associate and I were discussing our favorite burger places and, not having eaten yet, I asked for a recommendation. He wholeheartedly recommended Bora Restaurant. I followed his advice and was not disappointed! Do not judge the book by its cover. It looks plain and unassuming on the outside and took me a few seconds to spot it. (No pic, as I was distracted by my new car!) The inside was nicely appointed. We went last night and the service was outstanding, shout out to Hana (not sure of spelling) the hostess she was fantastic…it was extremely busy with some wait time even with reservations but she continually checked in with us and they even gave us a free round of drinks! We were happy to see the staff was just as great as the decor. I think our waiter’s name was Pavel (table 4) and he was great too! As was the food.
