This is a pretty solid place to eat at. All the food is tasty and significantly better than McDonald’s, Wendy’s and Burger King. It’s a step above. The cheddar bites are incredible and are my favorite thing on the menu. Those alone are worth the visit. The burgers and Cajun style grilled chicken sandwiches are good. I also am a fan of their Cajun style fries. It is free to make your fries Cajun style so definitely do it. I love their dining room set up. It’s a great place to eat at with friends, especially after a night out downtown. They also make their food extremely fast.

I am a big fan of Cook Out. I frequently visit when I have the opportunity. I have a friend in Blacksburg that I visit on occasion and I was very excited to see that this Cook Out serves coffee, and as a fun fact, is the only one in the world to have the “Coffee Out” sub-branding. Pretty slick. On top of that the coffee is no more than $2 for a fancy iced drink which is way better than the market average. You do pay for this, however. I waited 35 minutes for two iced coffees to come out, and I had to go back up to the counter to prompt them to make them, which means I would have been waiting

My first time here. Very fast service. Hamburger and onion rings were very good. Reminded me of having a bbq, very rustic old fashioned. Very tasty. Onion rings were very crisp. I had a chocolate chip mint shake. I didnt care for the shake. The ice cream was very grainy and not smooth. Taste was ok but i didnt like the ice cream used. Very thick but even as at sat im warm temperatures the ice cream didnt really melt. The chocolate was bitter. I will try another shake but for now that particular variety wasnt good.

Got a couple hamburgers here before, as well as more at their other locations, and they were great and people have been very nice and quick all those times - which were all drive thru, so just went back and got a huge burger inside and the meat was so ridiculously dry inside. It was awful. There was also no mayonnaise or anything on the bottom bun. Mentioned to the counter person about it, just so she could let the cook know for quality control, but she just shrugged. So, now I'm not sure if it's with coming back and rolling the dice.
