Atmosphere was great! Live music on a Saturday night wasn’t too loud. Fast service. We loved the Tazon (vegan style) best out of the three dishes. The tacos are only one each, so while tasty didn’t have the same value. As we tried pretty much all the vegan options, I hope they will add more so we can enjoy some variety.

I was walking down 8th Street and came across the Funky Taco sign and couldn't resist feeding my taco addiction. I walked into the place blind, willing to give it a try without any pre-conceived ideas and I was glad I gave it a try. I followed the waitresses recommendation and ordered the Piggy Stardust & Macho Tacos. The tacos appeared pretty quick and looked great. And I'm happy to report the flavors lived up to the hype. We were so excited to try this place given the location and previous reviews… unfortunately, we were very disappointed on multiple grunts. We ordered drinks and two of our three drinks came after our food got there after having to remind the waiter about them. We had to tell the waiter what we ordered twice as he didn’t remember. We ordered street tacos as one of our entrees and had asked for some cabbage to go on top given there was hardly any toppings on them.
