Came here for an early dinner at 5pm with a party of 4. It seemed super slow dine-in wise but they had a ton of door dash and to go orders flying out the door. Services was super quick and the food was on point! I ordered the Tanaka spicy miso ramen and the broth was very flavorful and had that umami to it, spicy but not overly spicy. If you like Ramen Misoya in Mt. Prospect, this is a close second to it. The restaurant was decorated with a bunch of anime and Pokémon figurines if you’re looking for a cute aesthetic. We stopped by Tanaka Ramen in Bolingbrook hoping for a bowl of ramen that would knock our socks off and have us slurping in bliss. It didn’t quite get there. We started with the Brussels sprouts and coconut shrimp — the sprouts could’ve used a little more seasoning (maybe they were going for “steamed vegetable chic”?), but the shrimp were solid.
