Really good lobster roll! • The cold lobster roll was absolutely delicious. It was creamy but not overpowering, paired with perfectly buttery bread. Cozy comfort for a chilly day 🦞❄️ • Pricey, yes; but considering the touristy location and the quality, it’s worth a try. • Staff were kind and quick to serve, plus they offer free chowder samples (a lovely touch!). • A must-try when visiting Boston!

so freaking UNBELIEVABLY expensive and very much for tourists but the cheesy lobsta melt was pretty darn good. the bread was soft, buttery, and toasted, and it was filled with lots of tender, warm lobster meat (it better be IF IM PAYING $38 USD FOR A SMALL GRILLED CHEESE.) and melty cheese. i liked squeezing a bit of lemon to cut through the rich, buttery flavours.

Boston Chowda Co is in a great location at Faneuil Hall Marketplace, but overall I found it a bit overrated. The food was decent, and the clam chowder was creamy, but it did not really stand out as much as I expected. The lobster roll and other seafood options were okay, but not especially memorable for the price. It also gets very busy, and the experience can feel rushed and crowded. While it is convenient if you are already exploring the area, I would say it is more of a tourist stop than a place I would go out of my way to visit again.

TOURIST’S TAKE!!! ————> Boston Chowder Co. was a really enjoyable stop while visiting Faneuil Hall Marketplace. The clam chowder was rich, creamy, and full of flavor! The crispy onions on top also added a nice texture to break up the creaminess. The staff was friendly, and service was pretty quick even though the area was busy. The seating can be a little crowded during peak hours, but overall the food and atmosphere made it well worth the visit. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for classic New England seafood in Boston.
