No guac or crema in their “California” burrito, which was also pretty small 😔 First time visiting, and while the service was good, I just can’t see myself coming back for this. For $15, you should get a big California with all the traditional ingredients it’s supposed to have.

El Compadre Taco Shop is a solid spot, especially since it’s open 24 hours — clutch for those late-night cravings! The burritos are fire — packed with flavor and always hit the spot. The carne asada tacos are a bit on the smaller side, but they’re still tasty and satisfying. Prices are a little on the higher end, but honestly, the quality of the food makes it worth it. Definitely one of my go-to taco shops when everything else is closed or when I’m craving something legit. The place is on second street and oakdale.

This place always surprises me. Wonderful atmosphere that people are great that work there. They know exactly what I want, because they go there all the time, because they're so good, I mean, I eat there at least 4 times a week, and it's always the best flavor big portions, very friendly people they really know how to take care of their customers.
