The food was delicious! Its been at least 10 years since I have dined here and it still did not disappoint. Actually, I first dined in in the 1980s with after church dinner and an occasional brunch. I was pleasantly surprised and glad that the deliciousness needle was still high!😋 And Yes, I do recommend this restaurant for brunch, dinner, lunch, solo dining, or any celebration. I just so happened to be in Bowie that day, when I wanted something to eat. I was open to trying a new restaurant and I saw this one! I stopped in and the wait staff was so very friendly, and patient with all of my food related questions. I had the rainbow trout, fried green tomatoes, half and half, and an apple tart-like dessert with 1 scoop of ice cream (not pictured because I devoured it as soon as it hit the table). Love the homestyle and friendly atmosphere. Although I lived in the neighborhood for over a decade, I finally made a stop because of heavy traffic to my normal goto spots. I was welcomed by the very friendly hostess and seated in one of the rustic, and cozy dining areas with small lamps over each table. I settled on a beef sandwich from the extensive lunch menu. The meat was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The prices were very reasonable and I can't wait to return and try some selections from the dinner menu.
