My girlfriend and I had our first date here. We came on a random Thursday and it just so happened to be trivia night. We had a wonderful experience and we’ve been happily together ever since. We laughed, I tried edamame beans for the first time (I ate them whole, I didn’t know), and we both did terrible compared to everyone else in trivia. It was awesome. My first experience at Simply Ramen was AWESOME! As a BG native, I love finding new spots and will definitely be spreading the word about this place. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. I had the Spicy Miso Soup, while my boyfriend had the Flames bowl—both were SO good. The service was phenomenal, and I am so grateful for our server Haley's kindness, knowledge of the menu, and recommendations. She rocked! Updated: Never a bad meal.. Last review: Updated.. was a bit skeptical about carry out as opposed to eating my food hot in the restaurant.. but I was pleasantly surprised at how well my food was packaged and hot when I got home. Base ingredients separate from the soup. A + also noticed some small details in the bar area that were pretty cool! New location looks great! Food is still amazing. Staff is helpful and nice. Spicy Shoyu is delicious (the flavor of the meat was outstanding) as was all the different dishes. A must to visit if you like noodles.
