So here's me, a literal 40-year-old Mexican food virgin, one of the whitest guys you know, walking into this place because we were visiting my late father-in-law's favorite restaurants from when he lived in LA. And I'm like... I should at least try to order something legit instead of a burger, right? The food all comes out and the plates are full to the brim. This is *a meal*, the kind of plate that says you should not and will not leave hungry. Steak picado, big pile of meat and veggies in tomato sauce. Nice low heat from spice that builds as I eat. Soak up more of the sauce with the rice. M

I came here for the first time and at first everything seemed fine. I ordered a machaca burrito and ate about half of it at the restaurant—no issues, it actually tasted good. Later that day when I got home, I finished the rest and suddenly felt something sharp in my mouth. I immediately took it out and it turned out to be a piece of metal from a scrubber pad inside my food. This is extremely concerning and dangerous. If I had swallowed it, I could have ended up in the ER. Situations like this should never happen. Please advise whoever is responsible for washing and prepping the food to be m
