Great place for a steak dinner / "lunch". I love the atmosphere inside felt like I went back in time to an era that was the GOLDEN days of good old fashion USA. The service was perfect you can't ask these guys to do anymore they both went above and beyond. Extremely ATTENTIVE and love the fact that we can talk like normal people with each other. The food oh my god........ First we had the Joseph Special Salad ufffff it was SPECTACULAR. The thick cut Bacon let me tell yah was like heaven in my mouth perfect amount of salad dressing it hit the spot after I had the Ribeye steak sandwich for this

Title: Disappointing Valentine's Day Dinner Experience - Avoid This Restaurant! I had a terrible experience at this restaurant on Valentine's Day. I ordered a steak and specifically requested it to be cooked well done, with no red, no pink, and no blood. Unfortunately, the steak was served undercooked and was essentially inedible. Saw Joseph's listed on a 'Best Steakhouse in CT' list and gave it a try. While the food was fine, the overall experience disappointed. The ambiance resembles more of a hole-in-the-wall bar vs. an upscale steakhouse. The bar is small and they make the situation worse by laying out bottles of wine across the bar, taking away seats - very odd. Additionally, the owner is too lazy to update the menu pricing. The steak prices were $10-$15 more than what was posted online. This is so misleading and dishonest. They list the NY strip as a "Single Steak" on the menu (no description as to the type

Joseph’s Steakhouse has a beautiful old-school charm that gives it a classic, upscale feel. The ambiance is definitely one of its strongest points. The food was good, but in my opinion, a bit overrated for the price. With all the hype, I honestly expected more. The staff was nice and attentive, but the experience felt a little rushed. I was asked multiple times if I was done with my meal—even while I had just started eating—which took away from the overall dining experience. Overall, it’s a good spot, but I’m not sure it fully lives up to the expectations or pricing. We will be back!
