Expensive, but I love the BLT and fries. BLT is approx $12.75, slice of cake $6.95, malt was $6.95, and fish & chips was $16.95. We did get here around 7:10pm, knowing they close at 8pm. Our waitress was very kind and knew the answers to the questions we had. She even sweetly relayed a message to an elderly couple, that someone else had paid their bill! The elderly man was thrilled, and very surprised, and went to tell his wife, who was in a wheelchair. She made their day! Overall experience: this was a lovely place to eat, providing delicious, classic American diner flavors. Arrival: We came at 6:30pm on a Monday, about an hour and a half before close. Only had to wait about 30 seconds before being seated. A lovely charming interior, music playing but not too loud, and really liked the privacy of the booths. Service: We had great service, the wait staff seem to have it down to a science how long to comfortably allow you to study the menu, go between asking how things are, without making it awkward or feeling rushed. Large diner, excellent service. However, for the price of the food, the portions were small. Ordered a strawberry malt - tasted as though the malt flavor was forgotten. Chicken potpie was 1/2 the size of other restaurants where it's offered.

Bruh, I went in to get some sweets to satisfy my sweet tooth. The milk shake was OK, a little more strawberry flavoring would have been dope, but what was ridiculous was slice of chocolate cake lol. For $6.50 my slice was more like a sliver. The drawing on the menu was larger than mine. My slice looked like that transparent sandwich Micky mouse was serving up. Taste wise it was aight but not for no 6.50. Skip it and get one some where else. Its rough out here. My advice, skip it and get you a nicer one somewhere.
