My friend and I went to the Brooklyn Center location. Stopped in for breakfast. My first initial experience was strange... I stopped to take a Pic of ghe front as I always do, and a person standing in the doorway- not a patron, was upset because I was taking pics. I've never encountered that. They have a great manager. However, their crew is slow, the restaurant is dirty and they seem discombobulated. We waited at the front WAY too long to get a seat. Then, when we finally got a seat, it was dirty. The lady laid a napkin on the water that was on the seat and walked away! What the hell!? Then, a woman came and asked us if we were ready to order. This is a very well-run and managed IHOP. My family was there at what seemed like a peak time in the middle of a Saturday morning. The dining area was at capacity, but our wait was less than 10 minutes. The wait staff had great communication with us, and we got seated at a clean table. Many moving parts at the time, and it raised my expectations. We had a Belgian waffle which was excellent, and I was absolutely impressed with the hash browns and egg/bacon sandwich. Their kitchen staff knows what they are doing. They are a busy location for a reason!

What a surprise! IHOP did not disappoint. I went here with low expectations. Not because it's IHOP but because it's in Brooklyn Center, and most businesses seem to be experiencing staffing shortages. The IHOP staff was friendly the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. I ordered online, and the food was ready at the exact time stated. Portions were nice. Bacon was cooked to perfection. French toast was extra thick and delicious also. The restaurant was clean. Thanks for a great experience!
