I love the Proudest Monkey for their burgers and fries. I order the sweet potato fries Yuppy Style, and am always pleased. Their Monkey Sauce is also delicious. You can also order ahead and pick up meals, and I've done that quite a few times. The food has always been hot and ready. I love the location and the service is great as well, no matter how crowded. Definitely the go-to place for burgers in downtown Bryan!

Having visited this establishment based on a local's recommendation, we were thoroughly pleased. The service was exceptionally attentive, the cuisine was outstanding, and the atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed. There are numerous televisions available for viewing sports and other events. The menu is user-friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the beverage selection is excellent. Please note that the burger prices are for the burgers alone, with drinks and sides priced separately. The most advantageous time to visit is during Happy Hour, which takes place from 2 PM to 5 PM, Monday through Fri

EXCELLENT FOOD EXCELLENT SERVICE My wife and I dropped by for lunch on our way to Galveston. We got there around 1PM and it was real busy. But we were lucky and got a seat immediately. And people kept pouring in. The decor of the place is nice - a mix of booths and high tables - and seating by the bar. Nice menu choices of burgers, tacos and salads. Good selection of beverages too. The food was excellent as was the service. Definitely a place to stop if nearby.
