I know Denny’s gets a lot of hate, but honestly, I’ve always thought it’s one of the best places for a late-night meal. There’s something comforting about being able to walk in after midnight and still get a hot meal, good coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere. It may not be fancy, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. And to be completely honest, the roast beef sandwich wasn’t very good at all hahaha, but somehow that’s part of the charm too. For a 2 a.m. dinner, Denny’s never disappoints.

This year my husband and I have worked at while eating more late night meals at Dennys than I think most people do in a lifetime. This was our first time at the Buena Park Orangethorpe Dennys and it did not disappoint. Sal was excellent, attentive, friendly and overall a great example of a top notch Dennys server. The location feels newly renovated and bright, clean and modern. Maybe a like chilly for a 1:32am work sesh, but that’s just an attempt to find something critical so I don’t sound like a fake review 😄 5 stars all day across the board, will definitely be back. I had an amazing experience at this restaurant from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was fresh & flavorful. The atmosphere made the whole meal even more enjoyable. What really stood out, though, was the service. Our server Sal went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was attentive without being overbearing, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. He made us feel very welcomed. Denny's, a long-standing establishment I've frequented for many years, is my go-to spot for late-night comfort food cravings. The 24/7 opening is a big plus. However, it's worth noting that Denny's has closed early on rare occasions, which can be disappointing. The extensive menu includes a considerable breakfast section, burgers, melts, salads, desserts, and more. I mostly gravitate to the all-day breakfast menu.
