I was there with my young daughter, and the staff kindly helped bring our food to the table. Several customers took the time to talk with her and warmly welcomed us to their local church.

Amazing little family run place. I had the rotisserie chicken and a beef pastelillo. The prices are fantastic especially given the quality of the food. The rotisserie chicken came with a good portion of yellow rice and beans. I added a pastelillo to try it as it was recommended and they were right it was so good. I'll definitely be going back!

Having had authentic PR food in South Florida, this misses the mark. Tostones, Alcapurria, and Maduros all lacked seasoning and salt. You could tell the pastelillos and alcapurria had been sitting under the lamp for hours- so dry and bland. The Carne Guisada was good and flavorful but was served in a tiny portion cup. The place needs a good deep cleaning and some seasoning...guess its good if you've never left Buffalo and had authentic cuisine.

I had a really nice experience at Niagara Cafe. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and the staff made a great first impression — the ladies greeted me warmly and helped me decide what to order. I’m not from Buffalo — I’m from Houston, Texas — but I’m currently working in Lockport, so I know what rice and peas is supposed to look and taste like.
